Testing Primark Makeup

Hey guys and happy Sunday! I love watching YouTube videos or reading blog posts about testing Primark makeup, and I also find myself looking at Primark’s makeup range most of the times I’m in there. So over the past couple of weeks I’ve picked up a few of their products to test out, and here’s what I thought!

‘Glitter Junkie’ Cream Eye shadow Palette

When I saw this palette in Primark for £4 I just had to pick it up. I thought I could create some amazing eye looks with this palette and with it being so cheap I was excited to see if it was any good. I tested several different shades and I was very disappointed. I tried to apply it with my finger and a brush but neither was successful. I found that none of the glitter really applied and the consistency was very sticky and unpleasant on my eyes. You can tell by the swatch that it was much more glossy than glittery and honestly reminded me of the eye shadows I used to have when I was a kid. I was very gutted!

‘P  U R E’ Eye Shadow Palette

I spotted this eye shadow palette for £4 as well so I thought I’d give one of their regular palettes a try as well and I was pleasantly surprised by this! The colours are really pigmented and easy to use to create some stunning eye looks! I won’t really use many of the blue shades but I will definitely be using the browns, creams and gold shimmer for everyday looks! So for an affordable, everyday eye shadow palette I think this one is really good!

‘P U R E’ Double Dimension Lip Gloss in ‘Fearless’

I absolutely loved this lip gloss and for only £2 it is amazing! It is a super pretty gold, shimmery gloss. The reason I liked it so much is because of it’s consistency, it’s not sticky like some glosses but applies easily and doesn’t feel too heavy. It also isn’t glittery which I am happy about, but instead leaves a super pretty shimmer on your lips.

NUDES Highlighting Stick in ‘White’

I’m always buying and trying out new highlighters but I was yet to try one of Primark’s. So when I saw this one for £3(ish), I thought I would give it a go! It was a super pretty white shimmery colour which is perfect for me! I much prefer white and pink shades rather than golds when I use highlighter so I really liked this and will definitely continue to use it in the future!

NUDES Metallic Eye Cream in ‘Enchanted’

As I am a huge fan of the Maybelline Colour Tattoos, I thought I would give this product a go as it looked like a cheap dupe! Firstly the packaging is super cute and the gold colour looks stunning in the pot. When I tested it, the colour looked really pretty on my hand as well as on my eyes. It definitely wasn’t as pigmented as the Maybelline eye shadows but was still really good for £2! I would gladly try this product again in a different shade!

Have you tried any Primark makeup? Or is there anything you want to try? Let me know below!

And as always, thanks so much for reading!
