5 Amazing Products For Under £5

Hey guys and happy Monday!

Before I get started on my post I just wanted to say welcome to the brand new self-hosted Little World of Rachel blog!! I absolutely love the new look of my blog and am so excited by all of the new opportunities that being self-hosted brings! I had a bit of a nightmare moving my blog over so I lost a lot of followers and comments on WordPress which I am really gutted about but I am still very excited for the future of my little blog. I am thinking of doing a blog post on my experience of moving from WordPress to self-hosted so let me know below if you would like to see that. Anyways, let’s get onto the post!

I absolutely love finding amazing products for equally amazing prices! So I thought I’d narrow down my top 5 beauty products under £5 that I use pretty much everyday!

First up is my all time favourite Moisturiser ~ Neutrogena pink grapefruit oil free moisturiser. I’ve used this for a while now as I struggle with combination skin, I searched for an affordable but effective moisturiser and this is it! Firstly it smells AMAZING as it has a pink grapefruit scent, doesn’t block my pores as it is oil free and prevents dry skin. As I have patches of oily and dry skin on my face, so this product is the perfect compromise! It is also usually on offer or a free for two with the matching face wash.

My second favourite is another skincare product ~ Palmer’s cocoa butter Lip Balm. This is the best lip balm I have ever used! It smells amazing, applies super easily and isn’t too sticky on my lips which I find with lot’s of other lip balms. It also has SPF 15 which is perfect for summer too so I use it pretty much all year round! I have had 3 of these and I will continue to repurchase these in the future! You can buy them from lot’s of shops and they tend to sell for about £1.99!

Next up is another lip product! ~ CYO Moisturising lipstick in the shade ‘living together’. This is the perfect pinky nude shade and it also moisturises your lips at the same time. This means that it always applies easily and looks stunning at the same time! I picked this up in Boots for £5 as I have heard amazing things about this brand so wanted to test out a few of their products. I always struggle to find lipsticks that have a consistency that I like but this one is amazing, so I will definitely be trying more shades of this lipstick!

This product has been a staple in my makeup routine for ages and that is my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. It costs about £3.99 and is the perfect everyday setting powder! It applies amazingly, doesn’t look cakey and the product lasts for a long time. One pan will last for about 4 months so it is money well spent!

Finally, my last product is perhaps my favourite and that is my Revolution highlighter in the shade ‘iced hearts’. This is the prettiest shade ever! It is a beautiful silver shimmer that applies well and lasts all day! It catches the light so well and will leave you beaming for ages! It only costs £4.99 and is a product I always turn to and will definitely be repurchasing in the future if a run out!

What are you favourite products under £5? Do you agree with my choices?

As always thanks for reading and I hope you like my new blog layout!
