Cards and Wrapping Ideas | Blogmas Day 7

Hiya everyone and welcome back to Blogmas!

Today I thought it might be helpful to write a post all about cards and wrapping ideas. One of my favourite things to do in December is to stick some Christmas music on, write some cards and wrap some prezzies. So here’s a few ideas on where to get the best cards and amazing ways to present your gifts!

Wrapping

There are vast options of wrapping paper so it can be difficult to choose! But this year I have decided to go for a silver, white and blue vibe for my gifts so I picked up some goodies from the Card Factory. Including wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbons, bows and confetti all for 99p! I wanted to up my wrapping game this year so I thought I would add some ribbons to my gifts and then decorate with bows! Something I wished I had tried is wrapping gifts in brown parchment and string as I love that vibe and think it looks super cute!

Baskets and Hampers

This is one of my favourite ways to present gifts as I think it makes it look so well put together and like you have spent more time on it than you really have! I have made these for a few years and the best place I have found to buy baskets is actually Wilko! They are very cheap but good quality so could be used after Christmas as storage or something like that. They also have lots of decorations for baskets such as bows, ribbons and kits to create hampers. I decided to pick one of these kits up and here’s what it turned out like. I actually really love it and I will definitely be making one of these again!

Gift bags

This is another obvious one but I have a few tips on how to jazz them up a bit! First of all, I love the look of tissue paper in gift bags as well as sticking out of the top! I think this makes the bag look much better presented and like you’ve spent a lot more time on it than you really have. I also love to add some Christmassy confetti to the gift bags as I think it looks so cute and just adds a little more sparkle!

Christmas Cards

When I was on the hunt for Christmas cards this year I found a few places that I would definitely recommend to you.¬† Firstly was actually MoonPig! I always make personalised birthday cards on this site so I thought it would be fun to make some Christmassy ones too! The customiser is so easy to use and there are loads of templates to choose from! I know there are so many websites to personalise cards but in my opinion this is the best for cheap but good quality products! ASOS usually have amazing cards that are pretty cute and funny, including the Kardashian’s and different TV shows. Some of my favourite local shops to buy cards are card factory as they have a huge range of different cards for amazing prices. But for generic cards I usually just buy a charity pack from Sainsbury’s or ASDA!

How do you like to present your gifts? Are you going to try some of these? Let me know!
