Stocking Filler Ideas | Blogmas Day 11

Hiya everyone and welcome to Blogmas day 11!

I have always loved stockings, both giving and receiving! I like to fill them with cute, fun and useful gifts that can be used on Christmas day or for years to come! So I have compiled a list of a few things you could put in a stocking for friends or family, I hope you find it helpful!

1. Nail Polish

This is super easy but great to stick in stockings. I majority of girls paint their nails so I’m sure it will come in useful for your recipient. You can also tailor it to the person by choosing their favourite colour or a shade you know they will like. Two of my favourites are the OPI polishes and the Maybelline Gel polishes!

2. Puzzles

Last year my Mam bought my Dad lot’s of wooden puzzles that you had to take apart and put back together! They were so hard that we spent a lot of time on Christmas day and boxing day trying to figure them all out! It was fun to do as a family and kept us well entertained even thought they were very frustrating!

3. Card Games

Similarly to the puzzles, my brother got some card games like Trivial Pursuit and The Chase last year which lead to some family competitions and fun on Christmas day. So I think they are a fab idea for stocking fillers to help entertain everyone!

4. Lipsticks/ Lip Balms

This is another one for the girls! I don’t think you can ever have too many lipsticks or balms as they always come in handy! You can always buy cute and affordable sets at this time of year that will make a lovely addition to a stocking!

5. Sweet Treats

You can never go wrong with some sweets or chocolates in a stocking! My Mam always used to put chocolate coins and a chocolate orange in my stocking which I used to eat as part of my Christmas breakfast! So I always like to add something edible as an extra treat!

6. Hot Chocolate sets

I was in Wilko the other day and I spotted some really cute gifts sets that contained a festive mug and a special hot chocolate sachet! I think this is a lovely idea and I will definitely be buying some to add to stockings this year!

7. Bath Bombs

I mean. who doesn’t love a good bath bomb? They can be bought from Boots, Superdrug or places like Lush for about £5 and make a lovely addition to a stocking!

8. Fluffy Socks

I wear fluffy socks all the time so I always love to receive them as a gift! Plus I don’t think you can really go wrong buying them for someone else as they are perfect for getting cosy and keeping those tootsies warm! They can be bought just about anywhere and in all different colours and designs!

(Pin me!!)

Do you agree with my suggestions? What do you like to put in stockings?

Stockings are definitely the best bit of present buying as the little bits and bobs you can find are the best. Almost half of these things that you’ve mentioned are in my sisters stocking this year! Fab post hun.
