Well I’ve made it! The final day of Blogmas! I am honestly so shocked and proud of myself for getting here and completing the month! I’m surprised I actually got to this point (YAY!).
So today I thought it would be lovely to round up Blogmas with a list of things that I am incredibly thankful for, as Christmas is the perfect time to look back over the past year and reflect! I would also just like to quickly say a huge thank you for all of your support over Blogmas, I am so so grateful, it really means the world!
Family and friends
I would be completely lost without my family and friends. No matter how big or small my problem is, they will help me out or give advice as to what I should do. They have also supported me all year whilst applying to university and pursuing my goals, for which I am so so grateful. Also, a special shout out has to go to my Mam for helping me with blog ideas throughout the year, as well as dealing with my stresses when I went self-hosted and during Blogmas too!
The Blogging Community
From the very start of my blogging journey, I was overwhelmed by support from other bloggers. If I had any issues at all, I knew I could ask anyone and they would help me out! This was especially the case when I went self-hosted as I’m not very good with technical stuff, so I was incredibly grateful for all of the support I received! Even little things like when I am having a bad day, I know I can turn to the lovely bloggers on Twitter to improve my mood and brighten my day!
This past year has been hands down one of the most difficult years of my life, with A levels, applying to uni and working full-time for a few months, it’s safe to say it’s been all go! But 2018 also had it’s fair share of opportunities for me. I applied to 5 universities, had 5 interviews and experienced 3 rejections, however 2 universities did give me an offer and therefore the opportunity to study nursing which I have wanted to do for years. I completed my a levels and achieved the grades I needed to go to uni. I am now about to start the course I’ve always wanted but without the opportunity of an interview, I would never be on the route to the career I’ve always wanted!
I wouldn’t be where I am now without the support of the people who read my blog! Every pageview, like or comment mean the world to me. It inspires me to keep writing and work harder on my blog everyday so thank you all!
What are you thankful for this year? Let me know!
