My Current Beauty Favourites

Hiya everyone and welcome back to my blog!

I hope you’ve all had a lovely week so far, I’ve spent the last few days at home from uni which I’ve loved! But I’m heading back to uni tomorrow as I am returning to my ward placement this weekend, which I am pretty excited about. Today I thought I would share my top 5 current beauty favourites because I’ve missed doing these types of posts since I enjoy writing them so much! So let’s get into the products!

Maybelline Super Stay 24H Full Coverage Foundation ’03 True Ivory’

I bought this foundation a few weeks ago as I was on the hunt to try something new as I struggle to find the perfect foundation for oily skin that isn’t too dewy or dry. Firstly the bottle is a great size so I have found that it lasts for quite a while, it also has a handy pump so you can get the right amount of product out. The formula is the perfect consistency as it isn’t too runny or thick. It applies really well using a beauty blender and lasts pretty much all day requiring maybe a couple of touch ups if that! This shade is slightly too dark for me but I will still continue to use this foundation a lot! My rating: 4/5.

Revolution Pro Fix Oil Control Setting Spray

I heard lot’s of good things about the Revolution setting sprays so I decided to give them a go. I have the Urban Decay ‘All Nighter’ setting spray but it can be quite pricey so I wanted to find a dupe and this did not disappoint! For £5 this is a bargain! I spray this all over my face after applying my makeup and that helped it last all day! It also smells amazing and dries quickly once applied! My rating: 4/5.

Collection Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner ‘Funk 3’

I ABSOLUTELY love this! I picked this up simply because it looked pretty, but I’m so glad that I did! This cost £2.99 and has lasted me so well! I’m rubbish at eyeliner so I have been using this as a liquid eyeshadow instead! It is the prettiest, glittery shade ever and sits amazingly on top of an eyeshadow base. It is a bit sticky but it dry after a while so it doesn’t really bother me at all! It is perfect for a night out or a special occasion. My rating: 4/5.

Bourjois Maxi Delight Bronzer ’02’

I have have had this for a while but I kind of rediscovered it recently. First of all this product is huge so has lasted me ages and it also smells amazing! It’s a really nice subtle and summery shade meaning it looks really natural! It applies and blends easily without that horrible powdery consistency that some bronzers have. I found that it doesn’t go patchy and lasts pretty much all day! My rating: 4/5.

Morphe palette ‘9C Jewel Crew’

Last but certainly not least, is this stunning Morphe eyeshadow palette! This is the perfect size for everyday use or travelling as there are nine super pretty shades. The colours are perfect for creating natural, everyday looks as well as more dramatic smokey eyes. The shades are so pigmented, blend really easily and there is pretty much no fallout which is a big plus for me! So it’s beautiful, handy and easy to use! My rating: 5/5.
